Alaa joined Al Salam Advocates in 2014. She has a broad legal background with more than 9 years of experience in commercial transactions and litigation. She has combined experience of in-house and law firm practice working with a wide variety of business organizations.  Alaa held Board and Company Secretarial positions for a number of clients. She is also a member of the Bahrain Bourse Disciplinary Committee.
 


Alaa has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law; aviation law; labour and employment law; case management; and international dispute resolution. She assisted major clients with various corporate and commercial matters related to private transactional (M&A and financing) work.  

Alaa was on secondment for a period of two years at an Islamic Investment Bank in Bahrain serving as the bank’s in-house legal counsel and corporate secretary. This has enabled her to provide our banking and investment firm clients with licensing, structuring and regulatory advice.
